Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando
When it comes to spine-tingling spectacles, nothing compares to Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights, returning August 29 through November 2. Not for the faint of heart (or anyone under 13), this world-renowned fright fest unleashes ten haunted houses designed to terrify and delight in equal measure. Big-screen nightmares like Five Nights at Freddy’s and Friday the 13th come to life alongside original creations such as El Artista: A Spanish Haunting and Grave of Flesh. Between sinister scare zones, electrifying live shows, and late-night rides on the park’s most thrilling attractions, you’ve got yourself a scream-filled night to remember.
As a proud Universal Partner Hotel, we make it easy to dive into the frights with advance ticket access so you can skip the ticket lines and head straight to the scares, plus a complimentary shuttle straight to the parks, giving you more time to enjoy every scare-filled moment.

Not-So-Scary Fun for Families
Traveling with kids? Orlando has plenty of Halloween events that trade jump scares for sweet treats. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom runs select nights from August 15 to October 31. There, little ones can trick-or-treat around the park, meet costumed characters, and catch the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.
SeaWorld Spooktacular and Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort also bring the thrills with costumed characters, dance parties, Halloween-themed rides, and trails full of sweet treats. These events are perfect for little monsters and grown-ups alike!

Legendary Local Favorites
Every Halloween, a few iconic Orlando favorites steal the spotlight with their own fright-filled flair. Among them is Cocktails & Screams, Orlando’s only year-round Halloween bar. Guests can sip craft cocktails inspired by cult classics while soaking in spooky décor that nods to icons like The Addams Family, Stranger Things, and Disney’s Haunted Mansion.
Over at the Central Florida Zoo, Zoo Boo Bash brings three weekends of fang-tastic fun. Families are encouraged to dress up, trick-or-treat, and, of course, discover more than 500 animals throughout the zoo. You might even spot a rhino snacking on pumpkins!
If conventions are more your style, Spooky Empire takes over the Orange County Convention Center from October 31 to November 2. Known as one of the largest horror conventions in the country, this fan-favorite event brings together celebrity appearances, a film and tattoo festival, and hundreds of vendors showcasing rare collectibles and one-of-a-kind curiosities. It’s a frightfully fun gathering for horror lovers and a legendary Orlando tradition.
