Universal Volcano Bay
The iconic 200-foot volcano that serves as a centerpiece for this incredible water park doesn’t spew lava — just good, old-fashioned H2O. The volcano is surrounded by aquatic thrills and chills for everyone, from multi-person rafts navigating winding tubes to meandering lazy rivers and an awesome collection of slides. Volcano Bay has fun for all ages — even your little ones will find safe and exciting places to play. Tot Tiki Reef has manageable, kid-friendly splash pads, spray fountains, and even singing whales to keep your tots entertained.
Hotel Landy Tip: Thrill seekers won’t want to miss the Ko’okiri Body Plunge, where you’ll take a 125-foot drop at 70 degrees for a white-knuckle rush you’ll never forget!
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
While the name sounds a bit frigid, we’re sure you won’t freeze at this ice-inspired water park at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. There’s a mountain of fun to be had at Blizzard Beach — literally. Mount Gushmore, the park’s ski hill, features Summit Plummet, one of the fastest freefall body slides in the world! That’s right: this incredibly exhilarating slide features a near-vertical drop. You’ll fly down almost 12 stories, propelled through a darkened tunnel for a grand total of 360 feet of speed! Anyone seeking the wildest water slides won’t want to miss this one.
Hotel Landy Tip: Looking for a little friendly competition to heat things up at Blizzard Beach? Head over to the Toboggan Racers, an eight-lane waterslide that features three exhilarating dips. Who will make it to the bottom first? Ready, set, snow!

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Located at Walt Disney World® Resort, the main attraction of this huge water park is the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. Believe it or not, this is the largest wave pool in North America, with 6-foot swells to ride to your heart’s content. Suitable for all ages, the pool has a schedule of waves, so you can make sure you’re there for whatever strength of wave you’d like to ride. A “sonic boom” sound effect lets you know a big wave is coming! So listen closely and get ready for some seriously fun body surfing. In addition to the famous wave pool, you can ride the two-person Crush ‘n’ Gusher, a coaster-like raft ride that’s wet and wild. For the younger kids, Ketchakiddee Creek offers shallow pools, mini slides, and a small beach for little ones.
Hotel Landy Tip: For a ride that’s fun for the whole family, make your way to Miss Adventure Falls and hop aboard a four-person raft to do a little treasure hunting on a thrilling whitewater voyage.
SeaWorld’s Aquatica Orlando
SeaWorld’s Aquatica Orlando offers a series of extraordinary attractions. In fact, it currently holds the title as the park with the most slides in all of Orlando! Don’t miss Reef Plunge, a spectacular tubular water slide featuring dazzling cutouts in the shapes of marine life, including dolphins, sharks, and tropical fish. Aquatica is also home to Riptide Race, the world’s tallest dueling racer water slide! Race down this 650-foot behemoth that starts at a 68-foot tower and see if you can reach the bottom before your opponents. Then there’s Tassie’s Underwater Twist, an immersive ride that takes riders into an underwater world with a dazzling seascape projected in a funnel-like enclosed feature. You can also pile into a raft to experience the feeling of weightlessness at KareKare Curl or enjoy Ihu’s Breakaway Falls, a multi-drop thrill ride named after Aquatica’s friendly gecko mascot.
Hotel Landy Tip: If you’re the type who loves to relax (even at the waterpark!), make your way to Loggerhead Lane — a laidback lazy river, complete with a refreshing waterfall and a captivating underwater viewing experience where you can catch a glimpse of Commerson’s dolphins, leopard sharks, and more.
Discovery Cove
This day resort has been voted #1 Best Theme Park in Orlando and #1 Most Romantic Thing to Do in Orlando, among many other awards. At Discovery Cove, you can swim with dolphins, get up close and personal with a variety of fascinating creatures, and snorkel with fish and rays. Close-up dolphin encounters are a major draw for this popular park, offering unforgettable experiences for all ages. These brilliant creatures are fascinating for kids and adults alike. You can also snorkel the Grand Reef, a massive underwater world filled with tropical fish, rays, and other amazing marine life. And it’s not just sea life you’ll find here. You can also visit Explorer’s Aviary, home to hundreds of exotic birds from around the world. Breathtaking colors abound among our feathered friends.
Hotel Landy Tip: Feeling hungry? No problem! Discovery Cove offers unlimited meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Select wine and beer are also available.
LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park
The creative fun of LEGO® meets the sunny fun of a dynamic water park. At LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park, you can build and race your own LEGO® boat, design a unique raft and float down a 1000-foot-long lazy river, or play the day away with DUPLO® animals at the DUPLO® Splash Safari. The kids will love Joker Soaker, an interactive play area packed to the brim with climbing areas and even a giant 300-gallon bucket. There’s also a fantastic LEGO® Wave Pool where young kids can enjoy small and gentle waves to cool off. And for the little ones that love a big rush, drop into the Splash Out slides.
Hotel Landy Tip: If LEGO®-themed racing sounds like fun to you, try the Aquazone Wave Racers ride, where kids can race through the waves and dodge water splashes.
