The iconic 200-foot volcano that serves as a centerpiece for this incredible water park doesn’t spew lava — just good, old-fashioned H2O. The volcano is surrounded by aquatic thrills and chills for everyone, from multi-person rafts navigating winding tubes to meandering lazy rivers and an awesome collection of slides. Volcano Bay has fun for all ages — even your little ones will find safe and exciting places to play. Tot Tiki Reef has manageable, kid-friendly splash pads, spray fountains, and even singing whales to keep your tots entertained. 

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

While the name sounds a bit frigid, we’re sure you won’t freeze at this ice-inspired water park at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. There’s a mountain of fun to be had at Blizzard Beach — literally. Mount Gushmore, the park’s ski hill, features Summit Plummet, one of the fastest freefall body slides in the world! That’s right: this incredibly exhilarating slide features a near-vertical drop. You’ll fly down almost 12 stories, propelled through a darkened tunnel for a grand total of 360 feet of speed! Anyone seeking the wildest water slides won’t want to miss this one. 

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Located at Walt Disney World® Resort, the main attraction of this huge water park is the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. Believe it or not, this is the largest wave pool in North America, with 6-foot swells to ride to your heart’s content. Suitable for all ages, the pool has a schedule of waves, so you can make sure you’re there for whatever strength of wave you’d like to ride. A “sonic boom” sound effect lets you know a big wave is coming! So listen closely and get ready for some seriously fun body surfing. In addition to the famous wave pool, you can ride the two-person Crush ‘n’ Gusher, a coaster-like raft ride that’s wet and wild. For the younger kids, Ketchakiddee Creek offers shallow pools, mini slides, and a small beach for little ones.

SeaWorld’s Aquatica Orlando

SeaWorld’s Aquatica Orlando offers a series of extraordinary attractions. In fact, it currently holds the title as the park with the most slides in all of Orlando! Don’t miss Reef Plunge, a spectacular tubular water slide featuring dazzling cutouts in the shapes of marine life, including dolphins, sharks, and tropical fish. Once you’re off, you’ll have a chance to get up close to the striking black and white Commerson’s dolphins that play and swim around the ride. Aquatica is also home to Riptide Race, the world’s tallest dueling racer water slide!
