When you arrive at Hotel Landy with your furry friend, we’ll welcome you with a special kit filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay! Inside, you’ll find a handy pop-up travel bowl, a durable fetch ball, plenty of poop bags, and a stylish branded sling bag to keep your dog’s favorite toys and treats organized as you explore the city. For a non-refundable fee of $100 per animal, your pet can join you on an unforgettable Orlando escape. With spacious accommodations and a warm, inviting atmosphere, your doggo will feel right at home. Please note, we allow up to two pets per room, each weighing under 75 pounds.
Orlando’s Legendary Theme Parks
While Orlando’s world-famous theme parks are off-limits to our canine companions, there’s no shortage of fun to be had. Doggy daycare services are available to look after your beloved friend while you’re experiencing the thrills of our local theme parks. Many theme parks offer kennel services so Fido can enjoy a day of new buddies and play dates as you tackle the world’s best thrill rides, water parks, and roller coasters.
Walt Disney World’s Best Friends Pet Hotel
At Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll find Best Friends Pet Hotel, a service designed to give you peace of mind that your furry friend will be looked after while you’re at the park. Open from an hour before the park until one hour after closing, you’ll have time to drop off Fido and spend the entire day at Disney World. Featuring 17,000 square feet of air-conditioned indoor space, your dog will stay nice and cool and have plenty of space to play with their new pals. But it’s not all indoor fun! Their covered outdoor play area is nearly as big, with 10,000 square feet protected from the elements. They even have a 25,000-square-foot dog park for tail-waggers who love to run around and play all day in the sun. The staff are highly trained care providers who love animals.
Need more than a single day? Best Friends Pet Hotel offers plenty of longer stay options, including overnight boarding and luxury suites for your pup or 4-level townhomes for your cat! Visit the Best Friends Pet Care website for all their options and start planning your magic getaway.
Universal Studios Orlando
If you’re headed to Universal Studios, a doggy daycare nearby can look after your companion! The appropriately named Universal Dog Care Orlando is located just a couple miles from Universal Orlando and boasts more than 3,000 5-star reviews! With several different daycare options available, including full boarding services, it’s the ideal place to provide your good boy/girl with a fun-filled vacation experience while you dive into all that Universal Studios Orlando has to offer — three theme parks and endless fun.
SeaWorld Orlando
As much as it would thrill your pool-loving pup to splash around with the sea creatures at SeaWorld Orlando, pets are not permitted in the park. They do, however, offer a kennel service for the safety of your dog. It is conveniently located right outside the main entrance and features 31 kennels running from small to extra large. Kennels are just $15 per day for guests or $10 for pass holders. The building is air-conditioned. Kennels are first come, first served and you will be required to provide all the food and supplies your pup will need to remain comfortable during your day at the park. Check out the SeaWorld Orlando FAQ for more information
Orlando Dog Parks
Orlando is known for delivering incredible park experiences for humans, but you’ll be relieved to know there are plenty of places for your four-legged companions to hang out and meet new friends too. Let your best friend run free at Orlando’s fantastic dog parks.
Barber Dog Park is one of Orlando’s most popular places to bring your pooch. And it’s no wonder. It’s large, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for your canine to burn off some energy and meet other furry pals. If your pup loves to run around and show off their agility, there are jumps here for them to test their speed and ability to jump. In the hotter months, the park also provides small doggy pools so your dog can beat the heat by cooling off.
Unleash the fun at Pup’s Pub! Is it a bar? Is it a dog park? Why not both! Head here for a fun-filled Orlando escape for you and your furry friend. Imagine sipping on refreshing drinks while your pup plays and socializes in a safe, off-leash environment. Relax, recharge, and create unforgettable memories together. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind Orlando destination!
If your sidekick loves roaming around off-leash and connecting with new canines, head to Lake Druid Park. This park has tons of fun for everyone and includes 19 acres of land, a mountain bike area, beach volleyball courts, plenty of birdwatching opportunities, and trails to wander to your heart’s content. But your favorite feature is sure to be the dog run, where your ball of energy can burn off lots of steam and have a paw-some time.
Fun for Pups at Lake Eola Park
Head to one of Orlando’s most popular city parks and bring Fido! Lake Eola Park is a top destination for community events, including live musical performances and Fourth of July fireworks. So, it makes sense that it would also be an excellent destination for dog walks to remember. Your hound must remain on leash at Lake Eola Park, but you’re welcome to walk the full mile-long path around the lake for a good bit of exercise. There are even a few pet-friendly restaurants near the lake where you can enjoy a snack or beverage.
Lake Eola Park is also home to the Orlando Farmers Market, a popular hangout every Sunday, from 10 am to 3 pm. The farmers market is dog-friendly and there are even vendors selling items your pup will love! So bring your leashed doggo along to experience this local Orlando hotspot’s fun and family-focused atmosphere. Shop for pet treats, clothing, supplies, and accessories!
Pet-Friendly Eats & Treats
With a name like The Stubborn Mule, you know this place loves all sorts of creatures! This local Lake Eola gem is ideal for settling in together on a pet-friendly patio and discovering a delightful menu of New American cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and craft beers. Meet some fellow animal lovers and enjoy some of Orlando’s tastiest bites at the same time.
Eola General is another local haunt for Eola Park explorers. The pet-friendly patio of this neighborhood eatery beckons with twinkling string bulbs and a lovely collection of outdoor plants. You’ll find everything you need to create the “patio hangs and picnic vibes” they advertise on their sign. Think cheese boards, delectable sandwiches, bagels, deli sides, wine, coffee, tea, and desserts! All those tasty treats and space for your dog — the perfect combination for a great afternoon in Orlando.
